VBS is coming... VBS is coming... VBS is coming! Usually at this point in my summer I am in another country...fulfilling the "The World" part of our vision - "Great Commandment, Great Commission - Chestnut Mountain, The World." This summer I am at CMPC. I am extremely excited, but at the same time a little sad. I even have a brand new passport (I had to get mine renewed in March), but it will not be stamped this year. I think an update from the Peru team would be nice to ease my discomfort... many have been praying for them, but nobody has heard anything from them. No news is good news, right?So, even though I am not going to be serving in another country this summer... I am going to be serving HERE! And I am pumped about that. VBS is coming! This will be my 2nd VBS ever! I cannot wait to see the kids and watch them learn about Jesus. It will be a great week! I mean, what could be better than everyone, everywhere I turn talking about Jesus... telling others about Jesus... loving like Jesus... serving like Jesus... ahhh. And, I get to be a part of that? What a privilege!
